Greater Manchester Police are reporting this week that they have removed two active criminals from our streets ahead of Christmas, who have been responsible for recent burglaries and car crime in the Norden area.
The Greater Manchester Community Policing team that covers the Norden area say that they have the culprit for a number of crimes in the Caldershaw area who has now been given a two month sentence.
In a separate operation another individual has been arrested this week following burglaries in Norden including an incident one on Keepers Drive.
This excellent news comes with word of caution though. With Christmas just a few weeks away householders should take extra care not to leave gifts or car keys where they are visible through windows and to make sure that homes and vehicles are secure at all times. The festive season can offer opportunities for criminals so please don't give them the chance to ruin your Christmas.
